Chens Beaten in UCL Cup Rematch
O.N. Chenecks’ run in the Sports Ground Development UCL Cup came to an end following a 2-1 defeat away at Heanor Town.
The fixture was a rematch of our Emirates FA Cup meeting earlier in the season and marked an incredible 11th away trip of the campaign for the Chens.
With Chenecks trailing, Emery gave the side hope in the 70th minute, heading home from an Inniss delivery to bring the Chens back into the game.
Chenecks pushed for an equaliser during the closing stages, before Augustine was shown a red card in the fourth minute of added time following an exchange with the referee.
The final whistle brought the cup tie to a close, with attention now turning back to the league campaign.
